One editor, multiple image operations

Resize dimensions, reduce JPEG or WebP quality, convert formats, crop using pixel coordinates, or rotate and flip. Each operation exports a new file; the original remains unchanged.

Processing uses your browser Canvas API. Images are not sent to Margenao. Very large images may require substantial memory on older phones or computers.

Image editing tools in one browser workspace

Resize images to specific pixel dimensions, compress supported formats, convert between JPEG, PNG and WebP, crop to a selected area, rotate or flip an image, and adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, blur or grayscale. The editor also includes drawing and annotation tools for simple marks and text.

How to edit an image

  1. Select an image from your device. The preview appears in the editor.
  2. Choose Resize, Compress, Convert, Crop, Rotate and Flip, Adjust, or Draw and Annotate.
  3. Set the options and select Apply to continue editing the current result.
  4. Use Undo, Redo or Reset edits as needed, then save the exported image.

Choosing an image format

JPEG is commonly used for photographs and does not preserve transparency. PNG supports transparency and is useful for graphics, but files can be larger. WebP can offer smaller files for web use, although compatibility depends on the software receiving the image. Lower JPEG or WebP quality can reduce file size but may introduce visible compression artifacts.

Privacy and batch processing

Image processing runs locally in your browser; the editor does not upload your selected images to Margenao. Batch processing applies shared resize and format settings to multiple images and downloads them individually. Your browser may ask permission to allow multiple downloads.
